These are essential for portable washers. It catches much more lint than my portable washer’s lint catcher, as you can see in the picture using just two. I was iffy about ordering because of the reviews, but they keep my clothes relatively lint free. Even after hearing my machine violently spin these around, clanking and banging around, none have broken.
I really like these. I have major pet hair allergies and love my pets. While I don’t think this product is right for all materials, it’s awesome on sheets blankets and towels for removing pet hair. It removed a small portion of hair from t-shits but not a significant amount. It may have been my fabric combination so I’ll continue to test the Jersey type fabrics to see if I can improve to efficiency of the lint catchers. Still way better than without anything at all.
Whoever invented these bad boys has earned themselves a first class ticket to heaven. No matter how many times I washed My cat bed before, the hair would never all come off and my washing machine had remnants of cat hair for the next half dozen cycles. I did have to wash it twice with these things but the washer was clean and the cat bed is cleaner than it has ever been since I bought it. Hallelujah
I was amazed at how much fur these things actually clean out of my laundry. We have 5 dogs and 2 cats and fur gets everywhere. This gets a lot before the laundry goes to the dryer, where the lint trap did most of the work before. They are very flimsy though. I definitely have to be sure to remove them from the load before putting it in the dryer.
I wasn’t sure about these, but after adopting a dog everything we own is covered in dog hair. This picture is of some microfiber cleaning cloths that can’t have fabric softener added to the wash, and no sheets to the dryer. They had already gone through the wash once, and that is the hair and lint left on them. So hair is a HUGE pain, and I need the things I use to clean to be clean. These lint catchers saved me a TON of time picking all of the hair off.
We've had them in our washer for a month now and it still hasn't fallen apart and it actually works. I've pulled out so much cat and dog hair and also lint from the towels after each wash. It keeps it all in the bottom of the net and I just empty it out when it's full. We have a top load washer.
