I’m a super skeptic of most reviews and wonder if they are legit. Bottom line, the Accelerated Meat Defroster product actually works. Just received it yesterday and today I thawed 2 fairly thick steaks in about 1hrs and 15 minutes. I flipped them every 10-15 min. Impressive
I got this for my husband for Christmas. He loves to grill and we're always forgetting to get the meat out of the freezer. I also regularly get doing too many things during the day and forget to defrost what I need to make dinner. I'd heard that these work really well, but had never tried one, so I figured what the heck let's give it a try. I was very leery when I pulled it out of the box. Just looking at it, I thought this must be another gimmick and there was no way this tray was going to defrost my stuff any quicker. BUT man oh man, was I wrong!! I'm shocked and impressed with how well this defrosts and how much time it saves me. I have no clue how it works, but you put your frozen meat on it and like magic in an hour or two it's defrosted. The tray is very light and easy to clean. This is now a kitchen staple that I use quite often.
Don’t you hate when you are halfway through your day at work and realize you forgot to pull dinner out of the freezer? I swear this happens to us way too much, and I honestly ended up with a lot of freezer burned meat, because we would just go buy something on the way home. This saves us money, so I can’t wait until grilling season to use it all the time. The aluminum actually absorbs the cold, so a steak that would take all day in the fridge to thaw, is ready in a couple of hours. And it is a great size, big enough for a family dinner.
