Am I the only one that on several occassion wanted to email unidragon because I felt like pieces were missing? Only me? Okay. LOL. In my heart I knew that wasnt the deal but my head kept telling me pieces were missing LOL. It was challenging and I refused to walk away until I was finished. I received my order in a timely manner. Im in TX. I also like the design of the box. Its beautiful and an attention graber. I will leave it out on so when family comes by they will be drawn to it.
This is my third Unidragon jigsaw- I started with the small owl, moved on to the king size chameleon, and then purchased the king size lion. Like the other two, the lion is absolutely beautiful, and the pieces are interesting and intricate. This one seems to have even more special pieces than the other two and it's fun to find them hidden in the box! Unlike the other two, however, the lion has more pieces that sit flush with each other without locking, which makes the puzzle much harder to maneuver than the others I've worked on. With fewer locking pieces, as you build the puzzle, it makes it more challenging to keep the structure intact- moving a block of pieces is almost impossible without having several become disconnected, and even shifting the puzzle board just a small bit often knocks the puzzle off-kilter so that I have to realign major structures. In addition, the laser cuts seem to leave larger gaps (?) than on some of the other puzzles, because even pieces that are correctly fitted sometimes aren't as tight as they are on the others, which adds to the problem of misalignment when moving pieces around or jostling the puzzle board. It's still a beautiful puzzle, but I've been spending a lot of time fixing sections I've already completed, which is frustrating.
