Excellent prediction laser cut clock parts. Easy to Assemble and snap together parts. Great building instruction and illustration. The spring wind up though needs a spring housing and the back retaining of the spring drive needs improvment. The wind up drive drops out easy at the back retaining. A added an aluminum tube to hold it and retain the drive. I added. 500 gram fuse drive currently gives me 8 hours or 1 hour per five cm fuse line.
A really nice project that turned out really nice. Not quite done but very pleased with results. Sure beats watching TV. I would recommend this project to anyone who is looking for a great project.
I live in an assisted living home. We had a show of the things we had done recently. My contribution was the clock and the truck. I received many comments and com- plients on them. They have been a tremendous lift to me during this time of reduced contact with my loved ones. Thank you!
I love the clock and it is worth the challenge. BUT A word of advice be careful of small ends of wood parts that can break off. I have had to make 3 new wood parts and I was short one rod that I will have to make myself. Over all, it is WORTH it. That is why I give it 5 stars. I still WISH I had extra small parts and rods.
Easy when you take your time and follow the directions. I did only a few steps per sitting, took me a week. I had to make small adjustments once I put all the gears together. It was an awesome feeling to watch and hear the clock ticking away. Awesome project!11
