Since I have back problems, I can't sleep without a knee pillow or something between my legs to get my hips to align right. I've been using my Contour leg pillow for years - and although it helps, I feel like it's not thick enough and it always winds up on the floor by the time I wake up. I found the ComfiLife Orthopedic Knee pillow and decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! It's made of memory foam, but it's very dense so it feels like it actually supports the leg that i'm putting on top when I sleep on my side. I also don't feel like it's crushing my leg/knee on the bottom and the thickness is perfect! I feel like my hips are finally aligned when I sleep on my side. It's also a bit larger than the Contour pillow, but that's a good thing! I took some comparison pictures as well to show the difference between the two. I've been sleeping very well and not having shooting nerve pain down my right leg as I tend to have most of the time. This is a fantastic pillow and I highly recommend it.
After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to give this pillow a try. I am a side sleeper and like to hike my bent leg pretty far up, which I imagine really puts my spine out of alignment. Needless to say, tossing and turning with severe low back pain all through the night and well into the next morning. The first night I used this pillow, it was like a miracle. The only time I woke up was to turn over to my other side with my pillow still between my knees. This is my third night of using the knee pillow and probably the best 3 nights of sleep I have ever had and the ability to get out of bed the next morning with no back pain. I had no problem adapting to this pillow. It is soft, comfortable and stays put. I just hope I don't have a problem removing the cover to wash as some reviewers complained about. I have already told my sister about this pillow. Thanks for such a great product from a great company!
I wanted to give this product a few days testing before I reviewed it. I have many health issues right now which makes it hard to focus on just one thing while trying to sleep. With a bad back, bad circulation in the legs, and restless leg syndrome you can see giving this pillow an honest review was going to be hard. The first three days went as I thought it would, I just couldn't hold still, but as time went on I noticed how in the middle of the night I was fishing around for this pillow with my legs after kicking it away at some point in my sleep to pull it back to me. I still only sleep about 4 hours at a time, but when I do I notice how much this pillow has helped me, and how I have been able to keep it in place for a longer period of time. .............................................................. So for me, this pillow has helped out a great deal, and my lower back does feel more rested, and I wake up in a great deal of less pain. So it did take some time, but now it may seem silly, but my legs are like a child missing a lost teddy bear when my pillow isn't there.
My husband recently had knee replacement surgery. His physical therapist recommended he put a pillow between his knees at night. Didn't work well.....so I saw an for your knee pillow and ordered two. My husband is doing better with his new pillow and I'm using one too because my hips bother me at night. They're a little cumbersome at first, but a couple of nights and we're getting used to them. You've made a couple of 86 year old seniors happy!
I only got this pillow today, so I will update this review later on if need be.... I already have plans to get another one of these as a gift for someone this year. For those who are wondering if this pillow will compress pathetically between your legs, fear not. This is a nice, firm pillow that needs a good deal of pressure to compress to halway it's size. My pillow measures at a little more than 3 and a half inches at the narrowest point. For me, at least, that feels quite wide during use. I was concerned this pillow would feel like nothing, but it is very supportive. Very happy and excited to use this pillow.
My husband has been suffering from sciatica pain for the past year. The pain would make sleeping difficult and was really bad when he got out of bed. He is currently going to physical therapy for it but has had very little relief. After one night using this knee pillow he had NO pain when he woke up! The pillow is firm enough to keep your knees separated yet the cover is very soft to the touch. Somehow it seems to move with you in your sleep without falling out of place. Amazing product! We were also impressed with how quickly we received the item.
So pleased with this product and seller! I was in a serious auto accident a year and a half ago with knee and neck injuries. Nothing worked to help the knee pain at night while trying to sleep. Then I found this pillow! Amazing!! So impressed I purchased one for my daughter who was having back/hip/knee issues from running. She loves hers too! I am an RN so I am very picky about support/therapeutic devices. The cover of this pillow zips off for laundering. The pillow maintains its shape with continued use. Comes with a lifetime guarantee. Highly recommend. 5 Stars!
I was pleasantly surprised how well this worked. I flip from one side to another often and it is way less hassle using this than a standard pillow that I used to use. After airing it out a day it was good to go. It is nice and soft as well as supportive. My only regret is not purchasing this years ago.
This pillow is much superior to another supposed "Memory foam" pillow I bought at a department store. The ComfiLife is firm, but not rigid. I place it just above the knees, and go right to sleep. I don't have to constantly re-position it to get comfortable. I wish everything in life worked that well, including my joints, lol.
I love this pillow, because the memory foam is high-quality and firm. It's got good airflow (a must-have in blazing hot Arizona) and doesn't make me feel overheated or sweaty like other memory foam pillows do. The cover is removable and washable, which is a huge bonus. The zipper on the cover is quality as well, and I feel confident that it will hold up over time and frequent use. The only warning I'd like to give to smaller-framed individuals (like myself) is that if you are are petite-framed or weigh less than 115 lbs, the pillow may seem too thick between one's legs. I'm 5'0" and weigh 107 lbs and my legs aren't heavy enough to compress the pillow as much as I'd like. (Not the pillow's fault, I'm just a small person!)
